The Closing Ceremony is being held at 4:00 PM on Sunday June 22nd, 2003. The Ceremony will be in Georgetown on
K Street between 29th and Wisconsin. After the ceremony, there will be a "Meet and Greet" area organized by
last name - I will be by the S's.
Please note that there is NO PARKING available at Closing Ceremonies.
Please take Metro to the Ceremony; the closest is Foggy Bottom (blue/orange lines), approximately a ½ mile away, and
taxis are always available near the station, although it's a relatively quick walk.
If you think you will be attending, please
and I will put you in touch with others who will be congregating to welcome me home. I'm trying to get someone to make a
sign so that people can find each other.
If you're interested in meeting me along the route, there are designated cheering
stations. If you want to meet me, let me know which station and I'll be able to tell you approximately what time I'll be
there.
